After spending a several days on the road we rolled back into Frankfort Michigan in late May. We were met with mild temperatures and spring in full bloom. The first order of business was to get to the beach and take in the view of Lake Michigan and the surrounding dunes. Over the next few days, we settled back in and began to reconnect with family and friends. By the end of the week Tony was in the emergency room after flipping off of his gravel bike. Over the next several weeks of physical therapy and laying low he was back on the bike only to crash again on the road. The road accident was easier to recover from but a setback nonetheless. Things settled down by the fourth of July when friends and family began to arrive.
